Leadership
Sherylle is also passionate about community service and has been active in her community for years.
She most recently served as Chairwoman of Broward Legal Aid and Coast to Coast Legal Aid’s Board of Directors. She is also a past president of the Caribbean Bar Association and is a former board member of the Women’s Council of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce and the Lynne Mitchell Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides educational resources for children in Jamaica. Sherylle is also committed to diversity. During her tenure at a major law firm, Sherylle was one of the first recipients of the firm’s diversity award for commitment to diversity within the firm and the community. Sherylle served as the local chairwoman of the firm’s Fort Lauderdale Office’s Inclusion and Diversity Committee, Women’s Forum, Pipeline and Retention Subcommittees.
